Silver (Platinum plated) NO. The color is kept clean and shine. You can wear them in water.

Gold (Gold plated 24k) NO. Gold plating is applied to change the color of the product, making it last even more.

With normal day to day use and in water, even something which is based on gold-plated silver 925, will lose its color after quite some time (several months). This is a natural procedure of the material.

In the final stage we can see the clean silver, shining surface of metal. It can be gold plated again at your own cost. But based on the price of the product and the long life span, we can reassure you that it will have payed off its value.

Yes, you can. You must though keep them away from salt, by cleaning them using clear/distilled water.

Note: You should care while using sunscreen or tanning oil, which can change the color of the jewel (as we discussed before about perfumes and creams), more than the fact that you’re going to swim with them.

If silver 925 does not cause you an allergic reaction, then typically you can wear all marsmallow jewels. The do not contain nickel and lead, which is the important information for those who are allergic.
